Improving Urban Water Service Delivery in Somaliland

Project name: Burco Water Supply System Expansion in Somaliland.

Partners: Burco Water Agency and MoWR.

Description : The project aims at connecting six new boreholes to the Burco Water supply system by constructing 24 km of new trunk lines and primary distribution, connect 3,000 new households and 13 kiosks. The project introduced also a modern computerized billing systems on OpenERP platform (WIMS). After the project Burco increase its distribution capacity by 80%.
