Urban water supply system planning and infrastructures expansion

Description : The project supported PSAWEN and five urban water utilities (Bosaso, Gardo, Garowe, Ba’adwayne and Galkayo) to develop planning documents (25-year Master Plans, 8-year Industrial Plans, 8-year Financial Plans, alternative ground water resources studies) and to introduce a modern computerized billing systems on OpenERP platform (Water Information Management Systems). The project supported also the utilities with the supply of water equipment and material to extend and repair the distribution network and well fields. The project drafted also a new PPP agreement.
