Description : The project aims at building three subsurface dams in Haraf and Boqor Jire in Hargeisa. The dams are lined with HDPE sheet at a depth of 8-12 meters under the ground level. The dams are supposed to increase the recharge of the shallow aquifer exploited by the farmers.
