Description :
The project aims at supporting the development of a framework enabling investment and Public-Private-Partnership
in Somaliland in order to enhance livelihood of vulnerable households in urban and peri-urban areas through the
expansion of the supply of safe drinkable water and the creation of employment opportunities.
The project will directly address the Ministry of Mining, Energy and Water Resources, and the two Water
Agencies of Hargeisa (HWA) and Burao (BWA) with a set of capacity building and technical assistance set
of initiatives as the main actors in supporting change in the area.
Descrizione : : Il progetto mira a sostenere lo sviluppo di un quadro normativo di
investimenti di Partenariato Pubblico-Privato in Somaliland, al fine di migliorare la vita delle famiglie vulnerabili
nelle aree urbane e peri-urbane attraverso l’ampliamento della fornitura di acqua potabile di buona qualità e la
creazione di opportunità occupazionali. Il progetto si rivolge direttamente al Ministero delle Miniere, dell’Energia
e delle Risorse Idriche e alle due Agenzie dell’acqua di Hargeisa (HWA) e di Burao (BWA), con un insieme di
attività di assistenza tecnica e iniziative di capacity building dirette agli attori principali.
