Description :
The action aimed at fostering the development and implementation of standard clinic and managerial procedures
and tools to provide common framework and statistical data for the various interventions in support of
health service delivery. Through the implementation of standardized procedures for financial management
and developing necessary training packages for the management, the intervention enhanced the efficiency
and effectiveness of two Health Facilities (one in Somaliland and one in Puntland) in providing health
services by the collection of reliable and complete information on the cost incurred, gathering data on
the different sources of funding and patterns of the expenditure.

L’intervento ha permesso lo sviluppo e l’implementazione di procedure cliniche gestionali
e di strumenti standardizzati, allo scopo di fornire un quadro comune e una raccolta di
dati statistici utilizzabile per ulteriori interventi di servizi sanitari. Attraverso
l’implementazione di procedure standard per la gestione finanziaria e grazie allo sviluppo
di pacchetti formativi per il management, l’intervento ha migliorato l’efficienza e l’efficacia
di due strutture sanitarie (una in Somaliland e una in Puntland) operando una raccolta di informazioni
corrette e trasparenti sui costi sostenuti e di dati provenienti da diverse fonti di finanziamento e centri di costo.
Results :
A dedicated software developed (CIMS) to obtain both statistics and accounting results. Administrative
cadres from the two health facilities trained in basic IT and accountancy and in dedicated automated
financial and information management systems, Health Facilities capability to generate and manage financial
and human resources, as well as pro-poor service delivery enhanced.

Un software personalizzato, in grado di ottenere dati statistici di base e risultanze contabili.
Personale amministrativo di due strutture sanitarie formato su contabilità e tecnologie informatiche
di base e su sistemi automatici di gestione finanziaria e informative ; strutture sanitarie in grado
di generare e gestire risorse finanziare e umane,
migliorando al contempo l’offerta di servizi a favore di gruppi svantaggiati.
